Tadasana or the palm tree pose

- Stand straight with your arms by each side.
- Make sure that your heels and big toes are touching each other.
- Raise your heels and balance your body on the toes.

Uttanasana or the standing forward bend pose

How to do it?
- Stand straight by putting your hands on your hip.
- Put your hands above your body and slowly bend your body forward.
- Continue bending until your hands touch the ground.
- Make sure that your knees are straight
- Hold this pose for 10 to 15 seconds.
Vrksasana or the tree pose
This asana boosts your mood instantly. It reduces anxiety and stress. This asana also improves your concentration. It calms your central nervous system and relaxes your mind. Vrksasana stimulates balance and alertness. It also strengthens the leg muscles.
How to do it?
- Stand straight with feet 2 inches away from each other.
- Slowly raise your right leg, bend your knee and place the foot on the inner thigh of your left leg.
- Extend your arms over your head and put the palms of the both hands together.
- Stretch your body in this position without losing your balance.
- Hold onto this pose for about 30 seconds.
- Slowly release this asana and relax.
- Repeat the same asana on the other side.
